Led by Sharel Cassity, recipient of the "2023 Downbeat Rising Star Alto-Saxophone" award, Alliance is an emerging ensemble that pays tribute to the jazz community and the tradition of mentorship deeply rooted in jazz culture. Cassity's vision is to showcase accomplished women Jazz artists, foster intergenerational connections, and spotlight the vibrant diversity within the Jazz community.

 

On their debut, self-titled album, "Alliance," the group forges a sound deeply invested in the history and future of music.
